- QCAT is the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal. It hears consumer, tenancy, body-corporate, guardianship, and administrative-review matters. Legal representation is permitted in many QCAT proceedings; some categories (particularly minor civil disputes) require leave. Our intake team identifies the correct QCAT division before routing.
- How do MAIC (CTP) claims work in Queensland?
- Queensland's CTP scheme is administered by the Motor Accident Insurance Commission. Claims must be lodged within strict statutory time limits, and the insurer must be notified within 9 months of the accident in most cases.
