Mallesons boosts Perth practice with new partner hire
Mallesons Stephen Jaques has once again boosted its Perth practice with the appointment of employment expert, Philip Willox. The hire will further strengthen the firm's national employment and dispute resolution teams.
Mr Willox has joined Mallesons from Freehills, where he was Perth practice leader of the firm's employee relations group. He has significant experience in industrial relations and occupational health and safety particularly in the energy and resources sector.
Mallesons Managing Partner, Stuart Fuller, said the appointment will especially lift Mallesons' market leading reputation in the major safety and incidents sector.
"His addition to our team reflects the firm's growth in the energy and resources sector and our commitment to provide greater depth of capability to our clients in that sector," he added.
Mallesons Partner in Charge of the firm's Perth office, Beau Deleuil, said he was very pleased to welcome Mr Willox to the Perth team.
"Philip is a great acquisition and we are very happy to welcome him on board", he said.
Mr Willox's appointment is effective December 2010.
